RE:     Maine Laptop Survey Data Needed - 7th Grade Students

Please remind and encourage all 7th grade students to complete the online
Maine Laptop program survey by Friday, October, 27th.  It will take students
only 5-6 minutes to complete.

The information we collect is important for many reasons.  It will be used
to report to the Commissioner and Legislature, to gather evidence for use in
applying for grant funds and to provide feedback to Maine educators.

The 7th Grade Student Survey can be found at:
www.cepare.usm.maine.edu/studentsurvey.htm

Please note that this URL will bring the student to the SurveyMonkey.com web
site, where the student will be prompted to accept a cookie in order to
launch the survey.

Surveys should be completed by Friday, October 27, 2006.

Please be assured that any and all information provided will be kept
completely confidential.
