[MLTI-MS] Wireless Readiness Checklist

Dear MLTI Schools,

Thank you for entering data into the MLTI Asset Manager (http:// 
assets.mlti.org). Updated contact information helps us distribute  
important program information and teacher professional development  
opportunities to you. The network and building information is  
necessary for the wireless network upgrades. Site visits for the  
network upgrades have already begun and will continue as school data  
sets are entered and approved.

At this time, some schools have incomplete data. We would like to  
encourage all schools to get this data entered as soon as possible.  
If you are unsure whether or not you have entered data, please follow  
the Network Installation Status link in the Asset Manager. This  
screen will show if you have missed a section completely. For  
sections that show that you have entered data, but it is not yet  
approved, please review that section to ensure you did not leave  
parts blank. Both the Apple team and the MLTI Project team is  
reviewing this data as quickly as we can, so it may take time before  
completed sections are approved. If sections appear complete, do not  
be alarmed. Your Deployment Contact will be notified if we have  
questions about the data.

When completing the Room Approvals section, please only list those  
rooms which are used for 7th and 8th grade academic use. Do not list  
rooms more than once if it is used by more than one teacher.  
Duplications slow the approval process.

All schools should complete all Building Information, Network  
Information, and Room Approvals information by October 31, 2006.  
Contact information should entered no later than September 29, 2006.
