Subject: [MLTI-MS] 2007 Principal Leadership Workshop Registration -
Reminder

**This is a another reminder,...if you have already registered, you do
not need to register again! Thanks**

Dear Principals,

Begin the 2007 year with MLTI. As promised, we have established nine
regional principal workshops to support your leadership in schools that
"learn with technology rather than learn about technology". Please bring
your MLTI laptop.

Agenda items:
* Reflections on implementation of the new tools (NoteShare) and the
MLTI Roadmap of Continuous Improvement Towards a 21st Century School.

* Introduction to Studywiz - Studywiz is a virtual, collaborative
learning environment for schools, designed to make eLearning intuitive
and practical for teachers, students and parents. This exciting resource
is free to all MLTI schools so we want principals to understand the
power and the uses of this environment. Knowing about the online system
will help principals determine the school leadership team that will
participate in the two-day Studywiz training.

* Research Results from your school - Dr. David Silvernail and staff
have early data about your 7th grade students. We will distribute your
school data at these meetings and provide you with strategies for
increasing student skills in the areas of information, communication and
technology literacy. Further information will be provided in another
email.

* Universal Design for Learning - We have been awarded UNUM funds to
continue working with schools in learning strategies for Universal
Design. Schools may apply to have professional development brought to
your school site. Principals will understand the federally mandated
expectations along with the many resources available for your staff.

* Literacy and Numeracy updates - These updates will include new
resources for your staff and professional development opportunities that
will be available for your staff.
