The MLTI/eMINTS 2007 Summer Teacher/Leader Institute
Wednesday, August 1 ­ Friday, August 3, 2007
Maine Maritime Academy, Castine
 
Please join us for an excellent learning opportunity in the beautiful
surroundings of the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. The program starts in
the afternoon on Wednesday, August 1 and ends in the afternoon on Friday,
August 3ŠTWO FULL DAYS OF GREAT CONTENT in extended learning sessions,
focusing on literacy, numeracy, and project-based learning, using 21st
Century tools. 
 
New This YearŠContribute to our new Integration Center and get a chance to
Win an iPod for your classroom!
Attendees are invited to submit work on core content areas focused
especially on numeracy and literacy issues to share at The integration
Center.  Contributors¹ names will be entered into a drawing for an iPod! The
Integration Center will be a space for exploring, staffed by a bevy of MLTI/
eMINTS Trainer Mentors. So bring your ideas and Check in at the Center after
you¹ve checked into your room!

Registration & Costs
Registration is $65.00, and food and lodging are $75.00, for a total of
$125.00 per person, double occupancy, for all three days.  Single rooms will
be available for an additional $65.00 (for a total of $175.00).  If you are
not planning to stay over, please refer to the following for pro-rated
costs:  

Wednesday Only   $30.00 (Registration: $15.00, Food: $15.00)
Thursday Only   $80.00 (Registration: $40.00, Food: $40.00)
Friday  Only $45.00 (Registration: $25.00, Food: $20.00)
