MLTI/eMINTS 2007 Summer Teacher/Leader Institute

Please join us for an excellent learning opportunity in the beautiful
surroundings of the Maine Maritime Academy

ctions>  in Castine. The program starts in the afternoon on Wednesday,
August 1st and ends in the afternoon on Friday, August 3rd...TWO FULL
DAYS OF GREAT CONTENT in extended learning sessions, focusing on
literacy, numeracy, and project-based learning, using 21st Century
tools. 
  
New This Year...Contribute to our new Integration Center and you might
win an iPod for your classroom!
The Integration Center is a space for exploring ideas and is staffed by
a bevy of MLTI/ eMINTS Trainer Mentors.  We are inviting everyone to
share their work on core content areas, with a focus on numeracy and
literacy. Contributors' names will be entered into a drawing for an
iPod, so bring your ideas and check in at the center after you've
checked into your room!

Registration & Costs
Registration is $65.00, and food and lodging are $75.00, for a total of
$140.00 per person, double occupancy, for all three days/two nights.
Single rooms will be available for an additional $50.00 (for a total of
$190.00).  If you are not planning to stay over, the following pro-rated
costs are being offered:
 
Wednesday Only   $30.00 (Registration: $15.00, Food: $15.00)     
Thursday Only   $80.00 (Registration: $40.00, Food: $40.00)      
Friday  Only $45.00 (Registration: $25.00, Food: $20.00) 
 
Please make checks payable to "Treasurer, State of Maine" and mail to

Purchase Orders will also be accepted.  Please indicate on your
registration form if you will be sending a purchase order.  Once your
purchase order is received, an invoice will be sent to your accounting
office.
