[MLTI-MS] CRITICAL MLTI Student Survey Needed

The following message was emailed to all MLTI Middle School Principals,
Teacher Leaders, and Tech Coordinators last week.  We are asking for
your assistance in getting all of your 7th and 8th grade teachers and
their students to complete a quick survey on the Maine Learning
Technology Initiative (MLTI).   
 
Your participation is greatly appreciated!  If your school has already

As the school year comes to a close, we are once again asking for your
participation in having your 7th and 8th grade teachers, and their
students, complete the online MLTI surveys referenced below.  The
surveys will not take students more than 10 minutes to complete.

The survey results will enable us to determine how students have used
the MLTI devices over the course of the 2006-2007 school year.  The
results will also be used to report to the Commissioner and Legislature,
to gather evidence for use in applying for grant funds and to provide
feedback to Maine educators.  All schools who participate in both the
Fall 2006 (7th grade students only) and Spring 2007 surveys will receive
a report showing the pre- and post- survey results for their school as
well as a comparison with other participating schools throughout the
state.

Surveys should be completed by June 4, 2007.
