The MLTI is committed to supporting best instructional practices in
literacy and numeracy. Middle school teachers across Maine are
finding NoteShare to be a powerful tool for supporting literacy and
numeracy in all subjects. In this workshop we will explore the
NoteShare features and some of the pedagogical strategies we have
found most useful in the classroom, view examples, and construct new
notebooks.
Participants should come prepared with content ideas and materials to
include in a notebook they will construct during the course of the
day (Please bring your laptops). We ask that you arrive between 8:30
and 8:45 to allow time to sign in and test the connectivity of your
laptops. The training will begin promptly at 9:00 and end at 3:00.
Lunch will be on your own.
We have scheduled a few sessions before the holidays and will
continue these trainings in January. We will keep you updated as the
schedule expands (if your region is not listed on the schedule below,
please keep in mind we will be adding those sessions in after the
holidays!).
The link to online registration and directions to our locations can
be found at: http://www.maine.gov/mlti/educator/ (under Middle
School Maine Learning Technology Initiative).
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Thank you
Juanita
