RE: MLTI Middle School Student Survey
Welcome to the new school year! We hope you have had a productive and
enjoyable summer. As the school year is getting underway, we need your
help in continuing to gather information about the Maine Learning
Technology Initiative (MLTI). Please encourage all of your 7th and 8th
grade students to complete an online survey - it will only take 5 - 6
minutes of their time.
The information we collect is important for many reasons. It will be
used to report to the State of Maine Commissioner of Education and
Legislature, as required by law, and will also help to provide feedback
to Maine educators.
Survey details:
The survey will be available for two weeks beginning Friday, September
21, 2007 and should be completed by Friday, October 5, 2007.
The survey can be found online at:
www.cepare.usm.maine.edu/msstudent.htm
Please be assured that any and all information provided will be kept
completely confidential.
Any questions can be directed to me, Bette Manchester at 624-6769, or by
email at bmanchester at mainelearns.org
<mailto:bmanchester at mainelearns.org> . You may also address your
questions to Paula Gravelle of the external evaluation team at the
University of Southern Maine. Their phone is 1-888-800-5044, and email
is cepare at usm.maine.edu <mailto:cepare at usm.maine.edu> .
Thank you for your participation.
Sincerely,
Bette Manchester
