[MLTI-MS] MLTI Image Discussion

Dear MLTI Schools,
The MLTI Project Team is finalizing requirements for the MLTI Image  
for next year. For any faculty or staff who would like to provide  
feedback or ask questions about the configuration of the image (not  
technical support), we will be hosting conference calls with members  
of the MLTI Project Team. Each scheduled call will cover the same  
information. Two calls are scheduled to allow for more people to  
participate in the call. At each call, we will address both the Middle  
School iBook and High School MacBook software image configurations as  
most of the configurations are the same.

Proposed MLTI Image Specifications Highlights
• Upgrade to Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.x
• Upgrade to iLife '08 (iMovie '06 for MS only due to software  
compatibility issues)
• Upgrade to iWork '08
• Removal of LiveDictionary/AudioAssistedText and Journelr
• Safari - Restore "Reset Safari" command for MS
• Safari - Restore to factory default version for HS
• Desktop color for Teacher user changed to a medium dark blue — see http://www.mlti.org/portals/tech/teacher.jpg
