We are extending our use of technology to provide you with PAAP
information through new and engaging formats. Our first efforts will be
directed to brief multimedia presentations about specific aspects of the
PAAP. A downloadable script of each presentation will be provided to
enhance access for audience members who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The first of these presentations has been posted in the Materials and
Tools section of the PAAP Webpage (www.mecas.org/paap/materialstools).
The topic is "Identifying Maine Students Appropriate for Alternate
Assessment". In order to view the presentation, you will need to have
Adobe Flash Player loaded on your computer. Most PCs are already
equipped with this program; if your computer does not have Flash Player,
or you wish to upgrade, you can download the program for free by
clicking on the icon at the bottom of the Materials and Tools page.

We hope you will look at and listen to this first-in-a-series
presentation, and send any feedback you may have to Kim Schroeter
<mailto:kimberly.schroeter at maine.gov?subject=Feedback%20regarding%20Flas
h%20Presentation> , Linda Parkin
<mailto:linda.parkin at maine.gov?subject=Feedback%20regarding%20Flash%20pr
esentation> , or Peter Bernard
<mailto:peter.bernard at maine.gov?subject=Feedback%20regarding%20Flash%20p
resentation> .

Thank you, and have a fabulous summer!

Linda, Kim, and Peter
