The decision to suspend the Writing assessment for all grades except 11 (3rd Year of High School) necessitated these revisions. Unfortunately, the timing of the decision made it impossible for us to effect corrections to the Manual before we went to print in preparation for our Fall Workshops. We hope the discrepancies between the printed (pre-Writing assessment decision) and current, revised PAAP Manual do not cause too much confusion or inconvenience. This highly-anticipated support material, guaranteed to everyone who attended one of the PAAP Fall Workshops, will be sent via USPS to each school district's PAAP Contact Person for distribution. The packets will include a roster of names for the district, taken directly from the sign-in sheets we collected at each of the six workshops, and one CD for each name on the roster. The CDs should arrive by Monday, November 17. If you attended one of the PAAP workshops in October, you should then be notified by your district Contact Person that a PAAP CD has arrived for you.
