Updated 08-09 PAAP Manual Now Online

Reflecting recent changes to the Maine Comprehensive Assessment System
(MeCAS) - and thus the PAAP - a revised PAAP Manual has been posted on
our website.  The decision to suspend the Writing assessment for all
grades except 11 (3rd Year of High School) necessitated these revisions.
Unfortunately, the timing of the decision made it impossible for us to
effect corrections to the Manual before we went to print in preparation
for our Fall Workshops.  We hope the discrepancies between the printed
(pre-Writing assessment decision) and current, revised PAAP Manual do
not cause too much confusion or inconvenience.
