Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Programs

 

The Office of Substance Abuse (OSA) of the Maine Department of Health
and Human Services is seeking proposals for the delivery of specific
evidence-based programs throughout the state targeting 10-19 year olds.
Programs qualifying for this funding are: Coping and Support Training
(CAST); LifeSkills Training; Lions Quest Skills for Adolescence; Project
Alert; Project Northland; and Project Success.  This project is funded
by the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant, from the
U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Center
for Substance Abuse Prevention. It is designed to fund prevention
programming in Maine to deliver services to youth to prevent substance
abuse.
