[Provider] Tracking claims held for interim payment recovery (IPR)

ATTENTION:  All MaineCare Providers with claims held for interim
payments

 

The web address listed in MaineCare Matters for the claims status portal
was incorrect.  The correct information is here.

 

Providers can get a report of their Claims Held for IPR on the MaineCare
claims status portal.  The link is
http://www.maine.gov/bms/member/innerthird/temp_prov_portal.htm.  (If
you do not already have access to the portal reports, contact
1-800-321-5557 option 9.)  At the portal, click "Held for IPR" in the
Selection Criteria.  The report itself will show these claims as "paid."


 

Instead of having claim payments withheld, you can send MaineCare a
check for the amount you owe.  Mail checks to Interim Payment Recovery
Unit, 442 Civic Center Drive, Augusta, ME 04333; please write "IPRT" on
the check's memo line.
