ATTENTION:  MaineCare Providers Seeking Pediatric Specialty Services for
Members

 

Getting care close to home is better and easier for everyone involved.
MaineCare strives to keep as much care in Maine as possible.  In fact,
patients are sent out-of-state only when the services are not available
in Maine.  So we are glad to let you know about pediatric specialty
services that are nearby and might be useful to your patients.  

 

Services are available for:

 

*      pediatric transplant services for both kidney and whole pancreas

*      pediatric nephrology

*      pediatric pulmonology

*      pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition

*      genetics

*      pediatric diabetes and endocrinology

*      developmental and behavioral medicine

*      pediatric infectious disease (including HIV)

*      spina bifida care

*      pediatric urology
