[Provider] Thursday Presentation on Federal Medicaid Rule Changes

[Provider Notification]

ATTENTION:  All MaineCare Providers

 

On Thursday, January 31, Department of Health and Human Services
Commissioner Brenda Harvey and Commissioner of Education Susan Gendron
will present important information regarding new federal rule changes
that will greatly affect reimbursement for a number of Medicaid services
in all states.

 

Changes will impact:

 

1.  Targeted Case Management

2.  Rehabilitation Services

3.  Certified Public Expenditure (CPE or "Certified Seed") 

4.  Administration Activities and Transportation Services

 

The presentation will begin at 3 p.m. and will last approximately one
hour.   All potentially affected providers are encouraged to attend to
learn more about these regulations and their impact.

  

A listing of the Maine Distant Learning Sites carrying the presentation
will be available Wednesday afternoon at
www.maine.gov/education/medicaid.html
