[Provider] Problem with Payment of Claims for Rental Equipment

ATTENTION:  MaineCare Providers of Durable Medical Equipment

 

A problem has been discovered regarding payment of claims for rental
equipment.  These claims contain the RR modifier and are currently
either denying or paying incorrectly.  A team is at work to fully scope
the problem and implement a solution.  DME providers are asked to hold
submission of claims with the RR modifier, for rental equipment, until
MaineCare notifies them that these claims will pay correctly.
