ATTENTION: All Providers Impacted By Claims Moving to Suspension with
Error Code 06010

This is a follow-up to the listserv message sent Monday, March 24
regarding claims erroneously moving to suspension. All these claims had
an error code of 06010.

This was found to be caused, in part, by implementation of a patch to
correct the copay functionality for oxygen and oxygen-related equipment.

It was determined that this patch would be removed due to the impact on
Skilled Nursing Facility claims. This was tested successfully in the
MeCMS end-to-end test environment and subsequently deployed in
production last night. The claims previously suspended are now moving
to a payment status. Payment of these claims by Electronic Fund
Transfer (EFT) will be 4/4/08 and by check will be 4/7/08.

A by-product of this resolution is that copayment will not now be taken
on claims for oxygen and oxygen-related equipment. These claims will
need to be submitted for adjustment, once they are paid to a Remittance
Advice (RA). Providers also have the option of holding the billing for
these claims until a solution is identified - the time frame estimated
for a fix is approximately two weeks. Providers should continue to
collect copayments for these services from members.

Please contact MaineCare customer service at 1-800-321-5557, Option 8
with questions.

This is a one-way communication. Please do not respond to this message.
