[Provider] Cost of Care Issue

ATTENTION:  MaineCare Nursing Home and Boarding Home Providers

 

On October 14th a correction was implemented in MeCMS to correct a cost
of care issue for Boarding Home claims. This action corrected the issue
for Claim Type 5 but inadvertently caused a new problem for claim type
12 (Nursing Homes).  As a result, NO cost of care amounts are now being
deducted from claim type 12. 

 

A correction for this new problem is in testing.  It is expected that
the cost of care issue for claim type 12 will be corrected by November
15th.
