[Provider] Adopted Rule for Chapter 11, Section 97

[Provider Notification]

ATTENTION:  All MaineCare Providers of Private Non-Medical Institutions
(PNMI)

 

This message gives notice of an adopted rule for Chapter II, Section 97
of the MaineCare Benefits Manual.  It is for private non-medical
institutions.  Adopted rules are final and no changes can be made at
this point.

 

Concise Summary:

In this rulemaking, the Department is eliminating reimbursement for
bedhold days. The Department has permanently adopted these changes
currently in effect by emergency rule.   These rules are intended to
achieve a savings of $2,000,000.00 in the general fund for SFY 08-09.
Compliance with this rule change is not anticipated to impose additional
administrative costs on small businesses.
