[Provider] Updated Billing Note for Section 65 Providers

ATTENTION:  MaineCare Providers of Section 65, Behavioral Health
Services

 

A message on this topic sent earlier today did not contain the
underlined information.  Please note this information.

 

It has come to our attention at MaineCare that providers billing their
usual and customary charges for Section 65 services may be exceeding the
maximum allowance listed in the policy.  Billed charges must not exceed
the maximum allowance.  The maximum allowance for provider charges can
be found in Chapter III, Section 65 of the MaineCare Benefits Manual.
