[Provider] DME Update

[Provider Notification]

ATTENTION:  MaineCare Durable Medical Equipment Providers 

 

The Department did not intend to adopt section 60.06 Restricted Services
# 11 which requires Prior Authorization (PA) for incontinent supplies
for members over age 21. We are waiving these PA requirements; your
claim will not require a PA number.  The adopted rule does put limits on
incontinent supplies for members over age 21. Any request for supplies
beyond the limits will require a PA.  This section will be corrected in
an emergency rule making. More information will follow next week.
