[Provider Notification]

ATTENTION:  PNMI providers of Appendix D and E

 

An emergency PNMI rule will be published soon.  The new rule is expected
to become effective on August 1, 2009.

 

Appendix D, Children's PNMI

 

The emergency rule attaches the level of funding to a child rather than
designating facilities to a specific level of service. The Intensive
Temporary Residential Treatment (ITRT) team  will continue to refer
children to programs that they believe can best serve the child closest
to his home.

 

By  July 31, 2009, Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) staff will
meet with providers to review projected levels of need by home and by
district.  In the meantime, the Department will continue to work with
providers to serve children within available resources. Thank you for
your patience as we work to improve delivery of residential services.
