[Provider] Physician services rate adjustment

[Provider Notification]

ATTENTION: Physicians who bill for MaineCare services under Section 90

 

In the June 1st payment cycle, MaineCare will pay the new higher rates
on claims for dates of service July 1, 2008 through December 24, 2008.
The rate increase was retroactive to July 1, 2008, and the claims system
started paying the new rate on December 24, 2008.  This payment will
apply the rate increase to the remaining claims that qualify for it.  

 

This adjustment will appear on the June 17, 2009 Remittance Advice
Statement.  Providers do not need to contact MaineCare or re-file
claims.
