ALERT: Temporary Provider Portal for Claims status is back on-line

ISSUE: Several changes have been made to the claim status portal that should
do the following:
* produce more reliable delivery of results files; 
* provide an error message when the query produces an Excel file with more
than 60,000 rows; 
* include the nine digit billing provider number in the file name for the
query results; and to 
* ensure that the file content is correct for the requested provider number.

Additional information, which will be added to next release of the manual to
be released in early March, will include detail for users to access results
files with Internet Explorer 6.0. The detail below, provides the instruction
that will be added to the manual. 
* Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla Firefox) allow for
accessing files through FTP, however Internet Explorer versions 5.0 and
earlier do not allow for users to change directory, which is required to get
to your acknowledgements and claims portal query files.
* Use the following command in the address line of your browser replacing
user id and password with the user id and password you have been issued:
ftp://userid:password@momentum2.bis.state.me.us/Out/useridO
* If using Internet Explorer you must make sure to de-select the enable
folder view for FTP sites option under Internet Options-Advanced tab.

IMPACT: Claim status portal is back on-line and may be accessed, along with
other portals at the following link: 
http://portalxw.bisoex.state.me.us/oms/

PROVIDER ACTION: Providers may resume use of the portal for claims status
and should report any irregularities to Jennifer Dupont at
Jennifer.Dupont at maine.gov or by calling (207)287-4526.
