[Provider] Please Discontinue Sending Checks for Void Requests

[Provider Notification]

ATTENTION:  All MaineCare Providers

In preparation for the implementation of the Voids Functionality later
this fall, please be advised that you should not submit checks for
repayment of paper Void Requests as of August 1, 2007.  Any Void Request
received by the State after July 31, 2007 will be processed once Void
Functionality is implemented, at which time a State receivable will be
created to recover funds.  For checks received prior to August 1, the
State receivable will not be created.  If a check is received after July
31, it will result in a duplicate recovery of funds.

Please note that this does not apply to checks being submitted for
interim payments.

Please contact the Adjustment Unit with any questions or concerns.
