ATTENTION:  All MaineCare Home-Based Mental Health Services Providers

 

RULE TITLE OR SUBJECT: 

MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapters II and III, Section 37 (Home-Based
Mental Health Services)

 

CONCISE SUMMARY: 

The Department is repealing this section of the MaineCare Benefits
Manual as the Department plans to consolidate all Home-Based Mental
Health Treatment Services under a single MaineCare Section.  This will
allow the Department to better manage these services through clear and
consistent program expectations and measurable performance outcomes.
The preferred treatment modality is now offered under the MaineCare
Benefits Manual Section 65, Mental Health Services.  The repeal of this
section is not intended to be an elimination of a service, but a
consolidation of services.
