[Provider] Proposed Rule for MaineCare Mental Health Services

[Provider Notification]

ATTENTION:  All MaineCare Mental Health Providers

 

RULE TITLE OR SUBJECT: 

MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter II and III, Section 65, Mental Health
Services

 

CONCISE SUMMARY: 

Chapter II adds language to allow the Department to prior authorize
services, add co-occurring services.  The proposed rule deletes Sections
Section 65A02G, Children's Family and Community Support Services and
Section 65A02H, Children's Behavioral Health Services.  

 

The Department also made other routine and technical corrections.
Chapter III adds and deletes coding for billing purposes.
