[Provider] Void Functionality Implemented in MeCMS - Providers Can Begin Use on October 22nd

ATTENTION:  All MaineCare Providers who wish to Void Claim Lines in
order to Re-bill

 

Provider instructions for using the new void functionality have been
mailed to all active billing providers.  This link

is to the News You Can Use section of the MaineCare web site.  The
specific document is "Provider Instructions for Voids."   

 

Please note:  Providers that use Maine State Billing and Medical
Reimbursement Services for their billing should know that the documents
have been sent directly to the billing service and not to the provider.
MaineCare is in contact with these services.

 

The "Provider Instructions for Voids" gives specific information as to
what providers can and cannot do with the new voids functionality.  The
document also lists a schedule of implementation.

 

Limited void functionality will be available for providers on Monday,
October 22.

 

Provider training for use of the void functionality is now taking place
across the state until October 12th.  Limited space is still available.
