[Solar-L] The Solar-L Mailing List and HTML-formatted Email

It appears that this mailing list treats your postings 
differently, depending on whether you have your email client set 
to send HTML or plain text messages.  The plain text messages 
come through fine.  However, the HTML messages seem to get 
packaged up in an attachment.  If you receive a list posting 
with no content, chances are that the poster has her/his email 
client set for HTML.  Look for an attachment and you will find 
the message.

If you have no particular reason to prefer HTML, I encourage you 
to set your email client to send messages in "plain text".  

Meanwhile, we are looking for ways to make the listserver 
(Mailman) refrain from sticking HTML messages into an 
attachment.  No luck so far, however.
