[Solar-L] John McManus edges out Dina McKelvy for Info Net Representative

By one vote SOLAR libraries picked John McManus to represent 
their interests on the new Maine Info Net Board.  John will join 
representatives from other Maine Info Net projects and other 
segments of the Maine Library Community in guiding the new Maine 
Info Net organization in efforts to enhance current services and 
develop new ones that improve library and information service to 
Maine citizens.

The first meeting of the Board will likely take place in July.  
Agendas and minutes of meetings will be posted to a new web site 
currently under construction.

As SOLAR currently has no user organizational structure I will 
fill the vacuum by assuming this appointment is for one year 
with reappointment possible at another vote in 12 months, 
subject to some other, better alternative emerging...
