[Solar-L] Heads-up for catalogers

Good morning Solarites,

  In checking recent bib records brought in/added to Solar, I noticed a lot 
of them are being brought in without a complete 300 field.  This often leads 
to what we call a false unique (causing a second bib record with a correct 
300 field to be pulled in by the next cataloger).  It also creates much the 
same situation when that bib record migrates to MaineCat.  If you pull in a 
record with a 300 field that looks like this one
r 300     p. cm.   Please try to fill in the page and cm fields so they look 
like this instead.  r 300     [40] p. :|bcol. ill. ;|c29 cm.
