[SOLAR-L] Server update: Reader's Digest version

Hi folks,

I just talked to Jon Forest. Here's the deal.  The Solar server was purchased less than 3 years ago with a 3 year support agreement included.  However, the company that sold it to Unet has since been bought and sold twice. The current problem is of a hardware nature and Jon's dilemma is that HP says they don't have a record of the service agreement. Jean Daigle at MSLN/UMO (one of those initial combos, anyhow) is the person most likely to be able to follow this paper trail, but Jon is having trouble reaching him.  Christian, the server dude is on the road, so he can't wave a magic wand today.  (is this beginning to sound like a Lemony Snickett book?). In any event we're doing the best to get this puppy back up and running reliably.
