[SOLAR-L] Server work on Monday

Unfortunately due to the communication issues involving the HP support
contract on the machine, technicians will not arrive in Orono to do work
until Monday.  Here's the report from UNET staff:

"The support team found errors in the logs which suggests a motherboard
replacement of a CPU problem.  Either way the work is fairly intrusive.
The tech is expected mid-morning on Monday to perform the work suggested
by the techs."

In the meantime, the server is currently up right now.  Due to the
likelihood of data corruption or loss should it crash again between now
and Monday, it is still recommended that you not perform any work on
SOLAR.  The good news is that HP has acknowledged that we do indeed have
warranty support on this machine until the end of August.  I will go
ahead with the planning necessary to move SOLAR to new hardware by that
time.  Thanks again for all your patience.
