[SOLAR-L] Van delivery problems

Please please please remember to verify that the library you are sending
an item to is actually on the van delivery system _before_ sending it
through the system. 

There are lists of the libraries that use the van delivery system at
http://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/interlib/delivery.htm for Public and K-12
libraries and at
http://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/interlib/delivery2.htm#academic for
academic and special libraries.

One way to ensure you don't try to send to non-delivery system libraries
is to only use the labels that are available from the above pages. If
the library isn't listed and therefore you can't find a link to a label,
don't send it through the delivery system. 

I know I keep harping on this, but it's a real problem. I've heard from
several libraries this week that have had calls from libraries on the
delivery system because items were delivered to them incorrectly or that
have had special deliveries from nice van delivery drivers. 

Thanks for reading and please make sure all of the staff at your library
are aware of this problem and the necessity to use the prepared labels
for the van delivery system.
