Hi Everyone
Just a reminder that following workshops are coming up. To register for any
of the following go to
http://evanced.info/maine/evanced/eventcalendar.aspand then the date
for the workshop.

"Cataloging Graphic Novels" - This workshop is designed to guide catalogers
through the new standards that have been set for cataloging graphic novels.
Tuesday, February 5 (Snow date 2/12) in the Studio at the Maine State
Library from 9:30 - 11:30. Note: only one person is signed up for this to
date. I will need more if we are going to run this one.
Tuesday, March 4 (Snow date Thursday, 3/13) at Falmouth Public Library from
9:30 - 11:30.
Wednesday, April 2 (Snow date 4/9) in the Studio at the Maine State Library
from 9:30 - 11:30
Friday, May 23 following the Cataloger User Meeting at Husson College in
Bangor.

"Authority Control and Subject Heading Workshop"
Wednesday, April 30 in the Studio at the Maine State Library from 9:30 -
11:30

SOLAR Cataloging Class (6 weeks)
Wednesdays, May 7, 14, 28 and June 4, 11, 25 in the Studio at the Maine
State Library from 9:30 - 12:30. To register go to May 7 only. You cannot
register separately for each day the class will meet.
