[SOLAR-L] Change in cataloging support

(Sorry for the cross-postings but I want to make sure everyone who
should see this does.)

As of July 1, 2008, the Maine InfoNet hours for cataloging support
shared by Bonnie Collins and Ellen Conway have been cut from 20
hours/week to 10 hours/week for budgetary reasons. Bonnie and Ellen will
both continue working with Maine InfoNet, but in an obviously limited
capacity.

The biggest change you will see is the elimination of the cataloging
classes and workshops taught by Bonnie. The classes that were scheduled
for the rest of 2008 have been removed from the calendar after notifying
registrants of the cancellations.

Bonnie and Ellen will no longer be able to provide how-to-catalog
support or training. Most of their time will be concentrated on database
cleanup. Questions or problems with using the Millennium Cataloging
module can still be addressed to Ellen, but please remember that she
will only be working 5 hours/week.

For most questions or how-to's, the listservs (MinervaCats-L, SOLAR-L,
and MaineCatalogers-L) are there for you to use, both to ask for help
and to share your knowledge with your colleagues. You can sign up for
any of the listservs at
http://www.maine.gov/infonet/listservs.htm#catalogers.
