[SOLAR-L] New material type added

Good afternoon,

  At the Tri-County librarians meeting today, there was considerable discussion on cataloging playaways. Since both Abbott in Dexter and Shaw in Greenville (soon to join Solar) got Rudman grants to buy playaways, they were interested in how to catalog them.  In the process of showing them records in Minerva, I realized that a new material type had been added to identify playaways as a new material type.  I have added the same designation s=PLAYAWAY to the list of fixed field material choices for those cataloging items in Solar.
