[SOLAR-L] New email list for the Download Library Audiobook service

Good afternoon, and apologies for crossposting this message.

I have set up a new email list that will be used for announcements and
discussions regarding the Maine InfoNet Download Library audiobook
service.

If you are a participant in the Download Library service, or just
really want to keep abreast of what's happening with the project,
please subscribe to this list at the following address:
http://mailman.informe.org/mailman/listinfo/downloadlibrary

The above URL also will include information regarding sending mail to
the list once you are signed on, as well as options for receiving this
list in a 'daily digest' format.

If you have a staff member or colleague who you think should be
receiving information about the Download Library, please encourage
them to sign on to the list as well.

I will periodically use this list for announcements and updates
regarding the Download Library, and this list should also be the place
for asking questions,  providing helpful tips, etc. from our member
libraries.  Since the Download Library is used by only a subset of
libraries that are on MeLibs and other Maine InfoNet sponsored lists,
it seems appropriate that we keep discussion going in a list targeted
for this service, rather than inundating non-interested parties with
emails on lists that are not dedicated to the service.
