From berek at tds.net Wed Jan 14 10:24:24 2009 From: berek at tds.net (berek@tds.net) Date: Wed, 14 Jan 2009 9:24:24 -0600 Subject: [SOLAR-L] heads-up notices Message-ID: <20090114092424.HBGPG.1453.root@webfep12> Good morning, I ran hold cancellation notices this morning. Since I was out for a couple weeks, I hadn't run them for a bit, hence the larger number today. Regards, John Clark -- John R. Clark-storyteller and librarian. I want to let everyone know that for personal reasons I have decided to move back to my hometown of Pittsburgh and have resigned from my position with the Maine State Library and Maine InfoNet. My last day of work will be Friday, January 30. Although I officially resigned on December 22, several things kept me from making a general announcement, including the holidays and an unexpected trip back to Pittsburgh after my mom passed away on December 26. I am working with James Jackson Sanborn and the rest of the Maine InfoNet staff to ensure that all current projects are complete and that the transition of my work responsibilities to other staff members is as smooth as possible. And, as if I needed something else :-), I will be out of work for a few days (at least) at the beginning of next week for surgery. So, please open a ticket (URL below) for all of your support questions. I still get several emails everyday from people on things that should be going through the ticket system, so this is a good time to start using the ticket system for all questions. I know I won't see or talk to most of you personally before I head back to the 'burgh, so want to say now that Maine librarians rock! This has truly been a great job, mainly because I got to meet and work with so many people -- smart and fun people! -- dedicated the library profession.
