Subject: Storing and Loaning Expensive DVDs

Hello!

Lunder Library now owns a number of expensive (and interesting and
informative) DVDs that we are most willing to share through interlibrary
loan, BUT we have a couple questions for fellow Minerva members:

1)	Would you like some kind of heads-up if/when one of your patron
borrows this material? What form would such notification take? Does
anyone have any easy and effective strategies to inform borrowers and
their borrowing libraries if a requested item is particularly pricey -
perhaps something as simple as a label with the price? (or is that just
advertising its value to potential thieves?)
2)	What kind of storage arrangements are you using? Notebooks with
sleeves, valuable stuff behind the desk, the-heck-with-it just put it
out on the shelf? Any others?

We would greatly appreciate suggestions and input. Thank you.

Barbara
