[minervacirc] INN-Reach Paged Too Long Report

Good Morning,

I ran the INN-Reach Paged Too Long report recently to remove an old request
for someone and noticed that there are a number of unfulfilled INN-Reach
Requests. Running this report is a key function to finding any languishing
MaineCat (INN-Reach) requests that may have slipped by staff for whatever
reason.

Another side effect of these lingering requests is that they can prevent
further requests from being fulfilled to your patrons or other Minerva
libraries. Notification of these requests will not be prompted if a
MaineCat request is sitting on the record prior to your patron placing
their hold. They will languish there until the item is picked up off the
shelf and checked out by another patron or just become a bottleneck until
who knows when.

If the item can't be found, please change the status to missing and cancel
the hold so that it doesn't lock your item up or sit on a MaineCat patron's
account causing "hold oddities". You know all those weird things that
happen with INN-Reach requests that drive us all bonkers.

Pleas find a list of languishing INN-Reach requests in DropBox at
https://www.dropbox.com/s/z5wchg2id9pqupm/INN-Reach%20Paged%20Too%20Long.xlsx?dl=0.
Take a look and see if your library has any items that need to be pulled
and set in transit. If there is a request on your item and it can't be
found, it is essential to remember to cancel the item level hold.

Many thanks,

Lynn
